The winters are something special at Vatnahalsen. Here, everyone can enjoy the snow while surrounded by beautiful nature. Thanks to the car-free environment, both young and old can play in the snow without worrying about traffic and noise. The terrain around the hotel is well suited for everything from snow sledding to digging snow caves. Sleds and shovels can be borrowed at the reception. When you´re done playing in the snow we recommend gathering everyone around the fire and grill some hot dogs.
